24 March 2018 // Wine meets Architecture // Kudhva nr Tintagel
Join us at the Spectacular Kudhva - Cornish for 'Hideout'
We're delighted to feast at this incredible location for our opening Wild Wine Club of 2018.
We will be exploring the influence of architectural design on wine making. Focusing on wineries with architecture at the heart of what they do and asking how the production of wine has informed the design of the building.
We'll start early, to wander the land before the sun sets. We'll then find the cosy indoors and continue our gathering, heated by open fire. We'll explore 5 wines, selected by Sommelier Debbie Warner and feast on 5 courses to match, freshly prepared on the grills.
Set in a 45 acre disused /abandoned quarry, overlooking the sea; the slate, grasslands, forest and sand all merge here. Kudhva sits amidst the raw and rugged landscape like an island floating above the waves.
Completely off-grid, deliciously wild - Kudhva's ethos is all about nature, design, sustainability and getting people away from the supercharged, digitally saturated world. A chance to listen to the waves, to hear the dear running around the grassland at night, to watch the sun set over gull rock
Ticket price includes all wine and food.
If you like the wines, bottles of all 5 wines will be available for purchase on the evening as well.
We're delighted to announce that chef Andrew Tuck will be preparing the five courses to match the wines at this special feast. Andrew has come from Surfside in Polzeath and prior to that was at Bedruthan, The Scarlet and the St.Moritz
Please arrive at 6:00 pm. If you fancy exploring beforehand, we highly recommend it! Arrive any time from 3pm onwards to walk, swim or surf on your own accord.

We haven't quite figured out how to order the perfect weather conditions... but we have luck on our side. We will continue with the evening under all circumstances and we have an indoor contingency plan if it's looking too wild, even for us.
By purchasing a ticket you agree that you are 18 years or older.
The event will go on in all circumstances - rain or shine. Sorry, no refunds. You may gift your ticket to someone else, or contact us in case we have a waiting list.
